Does anyone know of a good edition of the Bible (both Testaments) in Koine? I’m interested in a Bible for reading purposes, rather than study (with an apparatus criticus, etc.). Thanks! 🙂

I’ve never seen one.

I would recommend the UBS NT (amazon.com/The-UBS-Greek-New-Testament/dp/1598562851/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373926287&sr=8-1)

And the Brenton Septuagent (www.amazon.com/Septuagint-Apocrypha-Greek-English/dp/0913573442/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1373926339&sr=1-1)

The latter is bilingual Koine-Early Modern English. It doesn’t have a great layout, but it is workable. The former is pure Greek with a basic dictionary of all the words used (nothing like Strongs or L&S).

It all looks like Greek to me… (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself…)😉
