I can in theory take the bus but because of the schedule, I’d end up being away from home for 14h a day every day to do that. Hence why I need a car very soon.Yay!

Could you get by with a bicycle for a month or two? It’s good biking weather in much of the US now.
(I am normally really worried about people doing bike commutes, but it might be worth risking it for a limited time. Be really careful if you go that route!)
I’m thinking of going into the antique booth business at antique malls. I go to garage sales and thrift stores all the time anyway might as well put some use to my knowledge. Currently I have an extra job in a call center doing market research. I’m looking more likely to buy an old clunker off of someone trying to ditch theirs for cheap, rather than trying to finance a car. I really only need something that’ll hold together for 6 months while I save up and make more permanent arrangements. A craigslist car should do the trick for that long.
