Continuing the discussion from How to leave Roman Catholic Church?:
I’ll talk to my priest about it.
Thank you for the feedback guys. I’ve been doing nfp for 5 years, and abstaining regularly, but now we’re looking at abstaining for years and it’s getting hard on our marriage and seems like it’s contrary to human flourishing.I can relate. Pregnancy is also dangerous for me, so I am struggling to find a right way forward. My husband, who is not Catholic and has never been, refuses to stop contracepting.
But, I’ll be blunt here, becoming Lutheran does not fix your problem. It’s still sinful to contracept, and you know the truth of that. You can’t just unknow what you already know.
What does your priest say
I’ll talk to my priest about it.
