Bad teachers limit themselves in what they know.
The best teachers care about the people they teach.
They adapt their methods for each student they reach.
They understand each student’s special needs and desires.
They attempt to light the urge to learn into roaring fires.
They love their students and want them to succeed fully,
To be the best complete person ever that they can be.
They sacrifice themselves for the students’ progress,
Finding great joy in their students’ eventual success.
