My experience on the Fisheaters forum was something like:

Needless to say I haven’t been back.

Excellent resources on the actual website though. Really enjoy the readings about the temperaments.

Just don’t read the comments. Oh my.
Yeah. I read the comments at the last 3 articles. They are worse than I remember. I haven’t visited that blog for 2 years. Maybe I should delete my post here? Advice?

Is FishEaters still the place where all the antisemites go to hang out? I remember leaving there because of it. At least the good folks at Suscipe Domine have the decency to use dog whistles like “the Rockefellers” and “bankers”.

Fisheaters is a traditional Catholic forum, similar to the traditional section here on CAF.

Fisheaters is run by one woman and her views are pretty traditional. I don’t think it is at all like the traditional forum here.

Yes, well, here on CAF the forum owners’ and members’ personal marital histories and romances with other forum members are not topics of group discussion. I will be charitable and leave it at that.

I just checked out Fisheaters for the first time. The main page looked really interesting, like it had a lot of information. However, in a section about the Rosary, it was very clear in saying that the Luminous Mysteries were a horrible addition to the Rosary.

So buyer beware, I guess, just like everything else on the internet. It definitely has a very traditional view.

I didn’t bother checking out the forum there yet.

You are right, it is a traditional only Catholic forum. That is for sure but that is what the OP is looking for.

Many traditionalists are not fond of the Luminous mysteries, (which is a different topic probably)

Yes, you’re right. Perhaps that is exactly what the OP is looking for.
