I’ve been thinking since I posted that Adam.

None of us really know what anyone else is handing in life,
nor can we know how much is too much when anyone is faced with added stresses.
God only knows the amount of stress each of us can carry
without compromising our mental or emotional health, and our spiritual welfare.

I would think that the majority of us haven’t posted all the issues we are dealing with and that we have encountered in life.
Perhaps some of us are not meant by God to carry any more weight on our individual crosses that already weigh upon us. Well. truly, we all should carry the particular cross right for our shoulders as intended by God.

You may have been coming to this point for some time, so while we value you and want you here, we respect your decision.
While we fondly ask you to return when rested, perhaps that isn’t what God desires of you.
You already have contributed in many ways, and those ways will remain in the forum and in those whom you influenced or inspired.

God bless you Adam, in all that you are, and in all that constitutes your life and calling.
Thanks for being here among us, even if for a time

Echoing the above posts. I have always respected your posts in the discussions in which you have joined.

One other thought. Tired of trolls, circular discussions, antagonists, etc. etc. Hey, just think of what Jesus himself went through trying to get His message across. You know, we don’t always have to be successful in our endeavors, we are just held by the Lord to try. You never know what words you might offer that make a change in another’s thinking, or life.
Vaya con Dios … and come back someday.

@adamhovey1988 I’m sorry if at times I fall into any of those errors. But I’ll say I appreciate your posts, your style, and your posture. Consistently.

So please stay a little bit longer. At least the time to engage me if you like. A man wearing a crucifix around his neck and Our Lady over his heart is to my appreciation and dear to me.

If these things really bother you, at least give me the chance to try and address some of them. Send me a signal if you deem me worthy of trying.

I agree with you Joey, but I also highlighted what I thought was important, too.

Sometimes none of us may realize the very positive effect we may have on someone else, when we interact with them.

I hope that you will reconsider staying too @adamhovey1988. So many here at CAF really care about you!

I too hope that you’ll just take a break, and just reconsider your choice about leaving, and that you’ll just come back again.

In the mean time, you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers, and I pray that you get some rest and that you’ll find some comfort and peace, too.

Brother, you have a nobility about you that is also a gift of the Holy Spirit. That is why you won’t compromise like the others on those temptations of pride, vanity, arrogance, superimposing, implicitly boast, and so on.

You could do it, but you don’t. And that is a form of sanctity, of simplicity, of humility, of modesty, of holiness.

I would take this thread to, in privileged dialogue with you brother, dissect and expose some of the underlying logic that animates those behaviors. Please don’t resent me, I just watched your youtube videos and your blog -and I appreciate it very much, I find qualities in you that I lack-, perhaps your are above all of this. And perhaps I’m not humble and simple enough of engaging you.
