I think having kids make their first communion at a regularly scheduled Sunday Mass is an accpetable idea. I don’t think so because one must accept every decision a parish priest makes. But this decision was clearly made with appropriate regard for the opinions of the parents. The parents agreed with the pastor. I think this is good.
