The Gospel of Thomas is a “sayings Gospel” -thought to be from the Gnostics-although it is quite early as to date recorded-found in Nag Hammadi-purported to be written by Thomas -Didymus the Twin

Short answer: there is a Gospel of Thomas, but no one really seriously believes Thomas wrote that gospel. No one aside from a handful of fringe folks anyway.
