Gospel Reruns? or PMM?

Ok, I am getting old and forgetful, so I could be wrong, but yesterday’s gospel reading was about Peter, the rock, upon which I will build My church. I seem to remember that being the gospel a couple of weeks ago? or am I just imagining things? Was it maybe the weekday mass gospel, not a Sunday gospel? If not, then why the repeat so soon? Is there something important I am missing, a different message we are supposed to be pondering this week? Or am I just having a poor memory moment?:confused:
 
I’ve only been going to Mass during the week for a short time, usually one extra day a week, but it seems like they do repeat the gospel; at least twice that I know of. A couple of weeks ago, at Wed. Mass, our priest said that he was going to talk mostly about the first reading, since the Gospel would be repeated soon. I would hope my memory would be better, but it may have been “the rock” gospel.
