Fr. Stedman version pre-1962
Confiteor is said by server and people if Holy Communion is distributed.
After Saguis Domini nostri Jesu Christ… both 1962 and pre 62 have this… the 1962 missal gets different.
Page 61 Fr. Stedman’s My Sunday Missal (first year on the calender in the front is 1951).
After the Sanguis Domini…
Priest: Misereature vestri omnipotens Deu, et dimissis peccatis vestris, perducat vos ad vitam aeternam (excuse my ` and the ae stuff).
Priest: Indulgentiam (sign of the Cross) absolutionem, et remissionem peccatorum vestrorum tribuat vobis omnipotens et misericors Dominus. R: Amen
Priest: Ecce Agnus Dei…

The 1962 Missal, from Angeluspress, I can get the St. Joe’s out as well…

The Rubrics read, “The Celebrant then goes to the communicants and, holding the Host a little raised about the paten or ciborium, he makes the sighn of the cross with the host saying: Roman Catholic Daily Missal angeluspress page 912)”

The the Domine, non sum dignus just like the earlier mass, and the rest is the same.
But in the Fr. Stedman missal the bells ring three times during the Domine, non sum dignus and in the 1962 there are no bells during this.
So, no misereatur or confiteor in the 1962 missal. And our Latin Mass community does that. I’ve made note of it, and I just wanted to type a little to show you the difference.

to the priest turning towards us saying the Ecce Agnus Dei, ecce qui tollit peccata mundi and then giving communion.
Pre-1962 they said the misereatur and the confiteor before the ecce agnus dei… and used bells during the Domine, non sum dignus…
I’ve heard that some tlm communities use the pre-1962 communion. I’m not complaining though.

Cause on the sspx website the priests actually say the confiteor before communion. And compare a 1962 missal and an earlier missal if I’m not mistaken there are slight differences? Can some one clairify?
The Priest should never say the confiteor before Communion. There is some controversy over whether or not the servers may say it. The rite for the people’s reception of Communion is not contained in the Missale Romanum, but in the Rituale Romanum, which was also revised in 1962. However, it was published later than the Missale, so the 1962 Missale was used for some time with the previous Communion rite. So nowadays, when a Priest receives permission to offer Mass according the 1962 edition of the Missale Romanum, there’s some debate over whether he is bound to the 1962 edition of the Rituale as well. There was an article on this topic by Michael Davis in the Latin Mass Magazine some time before he died.

Just about the only difference you’d notice in the ordinary of a 1962 missal and an earlier missal would be the inclusion of St. Joseph’s name in the Canon. (Well, actually, you probably wouldn’t notice that.) This change came into place relatively late in 1962, so most 1962 hand missals that I’ve seen don’t include St. Joseph’s name. Also, Benedicamus Domino is only said when Mass is followed by some procession or other rite (Benediction, etc), not whenever the Gloria is omitted.

While it is true that the Rituale Romanum wasn’t edited until a later date, the liturgical law of Pope John XXIII in Rubricarum Instructum had been licitly promulgated and therefore must be followed. The arguments for maintaining the previous use of the *Confiteor, Misereatur, *and *Indulgentiam *are contrary to liturgical law, thereby constituting a liturgical abuse.

Part 3, Chapter 8, I. 502-503:
  1. The proper time for distributing holy communion to the faithful is within the Mass, after the communion of the celebrating priest, who himself distributes it to those who seek it, unless it is appropriate by reason of the great number of communicants that he be helped by another priest or priests.
    It is altogether improper, however, that holy communion be distributed by another priest, outside of the proper time of communion, at the same altar at which Mass is being celebrated.
    On the other hand, it is also permissible for a good reason to distribute holy communion immediately before or after Mass, or even outside of the time of Mass. In such cases the form prescribed in the Roman ritual Rituale Romanum], tit. 5, ch. 2, nos 1-10, is used.
  2. Whenever holy communion is distributed within the Mass, when the celebrant has consumed the most sacred Blood, the Confiteor and the absolution Misereatur et Indulgentiam] are omitted, but the celebrant says the Ecce Agnus Dei and says the Domine, non sum dignus three times, and then proceeds immediately to the distribution of the holy Eucharist.
