Gov test today

Hi guys; my boyfriend has a Government test today, and he’s really tired and not doing so great in Gov. He’s been out most of the week for various reasons, so he doesn’t really know the unit very well, and he’s worried. He’s also not feeling great at all. God bless you all!

Please keep him in your prayers; St. Joseph of Cupertino, St. Therese of Avila, St. Dominic Savio, all you Holy men and women, pray for us! Amen.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Hawkmaid’s boyfriend), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. My God, enable me to trust in the good outcome
of the test I am about to take;
help me to contribute my own share
of optimism and confidence.
With your grace, my God,
I hope to crown my efforts with success.
Keep far from me at this moment
any presumption that it all depends
exclusively on me.

the necessary and welcome presence

I have no idea what a “Government test” is, but it sounds quite frightening.

He got a B, guys!!! Thank you St. Joseph! Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, amen!

Side note, I told him about St. Joseph, and he’s becoming less and less opposed to praying for saints’ intercessions. 🙂

Hahah! Well, you’re rather right. You see, in American high school, we have to study our government system; how our Founding Fathers created it, how it’s been changed, how it works, etc. It’s very interesting (to me, at least), but also very hard. Thank you for your prayers!!

Thank you for the clarification. I believe we Anglophiles would refer to such a subject as “civics”. 😉
