Grace and merit

I’m looking for authoritative Church documents whose subjects are grace and merit (primarily), and perhaps justification and predestination as well. In particular, I’m looking for documents that can be compared with St Thomas’ treatise on grace in the Summa. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! Happy Divine Mercy Sunday

I can’t really help you off the top of my head. I just know that my experience with Aquinas on grace and predestination was rough. In general, I found it better not to think about life through God’s omniscient eyes but through my own human eyes.

Just keep in mind that no matter what the teaching, we are called to pray, to do good, and learn more about our faith.
