I heard a priest talk about grace awhile back and he confused me, and I haven’t been able to find anything out about what he said on my own. Can you guys help me?
He said that decades ago the Church taught that grace was a commodity - something we could store up, others could store up, and then we could ‘check it out’ and ‘unpack it’ when we needed it. Now, he says, we realize grace is our on-going relationship with Christ.
Does anyone know what he is talking about?
