Grace in both meanings… Here is an article which describes the holiness of the Tsar and his family before and after the Communist takeover.

Their daughter brought a message from the imprisoned, dethroned Tsar while there was a lot of fighting going on:
Father asks the following message to be given to all those who have remained faithful to him, and to those on whom they may have an influence, that they should not take revenge for him, since he has forgiven everyone and prays for everyone, that they should not take revenge for themselves, and should remember that the evil which is now in the world shall grow even stronger, but that it is not evil that will conquer evil, but only love. . .
 
Um, has this guy ever actually read anything about the doings of the Russian royal family (the doings of Alexandra and Rasputin), the horrific state of pre-revolutionary Russia or the deprivation enforced on a nation of serfs by a tyrannical monarch?

I find it very challenging to see anything saintly about Nicholas II. He wasn’t executed for his faith, he was executed for being an unrepentant avaricious tyrant.
 
An excellent book on the subject is Nicholas and Alexandra by Robert K. Massie. Nicholas wasn’t really cut out to be the leader of a country, but he and his family were genuinely nice people.

That was one of my favorite books in early high school.
