dear father, I have found yours to be the truth in my life
I feel lost without the ability to provide for myself and help others that relied on me. Please ease my burdens and return me to my dignity, help others see my usefullness.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Lord, please help Jacsluck to find the job you want for him. Please help him to know his dignity as a child of yours, a dignity not contigent on his “usefulness.” Grant him strength and peace, and help him to carry his cross courageously, patiently, and lovingly. Please meet all of his spiritual and temporal needs. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.
