Sweet name which makes the dying live
Which gives the blind their site
The source of all my faith my hope
My safety and my light
O Mary teach me to pronounce
That name of names most Dear
And softly bend adoring head
When Jesus name I hear.

Sweet name which cooled the martyrs fire
And o’er each torment new
A charm of heavenly comfort shed
A fresh, celestial dew
O Mary teach me to pronounce
That name of names most Dear
And softly bend adoring head
When Jesus name I hear

Sweet name which bid’s temptation fly
And baffles satan’s power
What name like thine can bear me up
In deaths appalling hour!
O Mary teach me to pronouce
That name of names most Dear
And softly bend adoring head
When Jesus name I hear

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

God the Father has sent Christ for the resurrection of his children. We pray to him in faith:
– May the Lord Jesus himself be our life.

By the pillar of fire you guided your people in the desert:
through his resurrection may Christ today be the light that brings life.
– May the Lord Jesus himself be our life.

By the words of Moses you taught your people on the mountain:
through his resurrection may Christ today be the word that brings life.
– May the Lord Jesus himself be our life.

By the gift of manna you fed your people on their pilgrimage:
through his resurrection may Christ today be the bread that brings life.
– May the Lord Jesus himself be our life.

Out of the stone you brought water for your people to drink:
through your Son’s resurrection grant us today the Spirit that gives life.
– May the Lord Jesus himself be our life.

Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen

I’m so very sorry for your loss…

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen

Prayers for your intentions….

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear my prayers. Amen

“If God brings it to you- God will bring you through it.”
