Grandma in ICU

They just put my grandma in ICU today. She needs surgery (gallbladder), but now they think she has blood clots in her legs and had to give her blood thinners. So they can’t operate right now and if they can’t operate soon, things could get pretty bad. She is REALLY scared right now and she really wants everyone to pray for her.

I went to see her tonight and it is so hard to see her that way. She had tears in her eyes when we got there. I am so angry because they have such strict visiting hours and she just needs somebody there with her. I just don’t understand WHY she has to be alone right now. :mad:

Dear Lord,

Please watch over mason’s grandmother. Please give the doctors and RNs the knowledge to take care of the clots so they can take care of her gallbladder as soon as possible. Also, please give her Your peace and comfort. Let her know that You are with her and her family at this time.

We ask this in Jesus’s name. Amen

Well, I talked to my grandma this morning and she sounds a whole lot better than she did last night. 🙂

She may have her surgery later on this afternoon, depending on CAT scan results, so please keep her in your prayers. She’s old and frail and this surgery will be hard on her.

Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. Comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore masondoggy’s Grandma to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your holy will and know that whatsoever you do, you do for the love of us… AMEN
