Has anyone listened to this, it was recorded at Ex Mormon Foundation conference 2012. It is entitled something like My Ah Ha Moments in Researching Mormon History, makes some very interesting observations.
Oh gosh, now your asking me to be technical, I’ll have a go.Hi LJ. Do you have a link for us lazy people?![]()
Almightly Lord, In Your Divine Love and Mercy, please rescue the Mormon faithful from the lies of their leaders.Oh gosh, now your asking me to be technical, I’ll have a go.
exmormonfoundation.org/ scroll down to audio recordings of conference talks which is highlighted.
Grant Palmer gives a very sober talk for the most part and does refer to his book, but he doesn’t seem to be of the ‘lets poke fun’ type, makes some good points and is very scholarly as you would expect.
What I found quite staggering is the 3 million hits that Mormonthink has had, this has to be impacting on the LDS church.
Also he mentions men who are missionary leaders who do not believe in what they are supposed to be teaching, Palmer can’t name them for obvious reasons, but even he can’t understand how they can do that. Worth a listen.
It may be possible that the leaders believe the lie as well; That is the scary part. We should pray for all Mormons, leaders and laity, to come to Christ.Almightly Lord, In Your Divine Love and Mercy, please rescue the Mormon faithful from the lies of their leaders.
In Christ Jesus, Amen
