Hello

I am trying to locate a couple of references in Augustine’s work, which are in the following:

1. Contra II Litt;
2. Ioannis Evangelium (tract. 26).

In addition I am trying to find that work of Augustine’s in which he famously refers to Massa peccati, or ‘mass of sin’.

Is anyone able to shed any light, please, on what *Contra II Litt *or *Ioannis Evangelium *are or what their English titles might be?

An Internet search hasn’t proved too helpful.
