I am grateful for being able to get to Mass this morning .

I am grateful for the psalm at Mass . “” What can bring us happiness ?" many say . Let the light of your face shine on us . O Lord."

At the beginning of Lent I developed an interest in the Shroud of Turin , and I bought this picture below .

God speaks to us in unexpected ways .

*for being able to have coffee with my eldest daughter before her counselling appointment this morning
*For then being in a position to get to daily Mass, where I discovered there was no Stations of the Cross on Friday, saving me a wasted journey then.
*For being there after Mass so that my good friend N was able to approach me and ask for prayer because he resigned after being bullied by his bosses and is worried about providing for his family ( please say a prayer for him too, as you read this!)

Father, we are grateful for your loving care for us. Sustain N and his family as he looks for work and help him find something that serves You as well as supports his family. Amen.

Grateful for the roofer who went out of his way to come patch some leaks before next week’s forecasted rain comes through. And for a reasonable price, too.
 
Today I’m grateful for the sunshine, yesterday’s much needed rain and the flower and vegetable gardens.
