This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Abba , my Abba , what a blessed and glorious day .

This day , 72 years ago , I was baptised when in Your embrace of love you proclaimed me to be Your beloved son on whom Your favour rests , a member of the Body of Your Son , my Lord and Saviour , Jesus Christ , and a temple of the Holy Spirit .

Thank You .

Thank You for my parents and for the Jesuit priest who baptised me .

Father , it is my privilege this day to say in the power of the Holy Spirit - - - - - - - - -

I renounce sin , so as to live in the freedom of the children of God .

I renounce the lure of evil , so that sin may have no mastery over me .

I renounce Satan , the author and prince of sin .

I believe in God , the Father almighty , Creator of heaven and earth .

I believe in Jesus Christ , his only Son , our Lord , who was born of the Virgin Mary , suffered death and was buried , rose again from the dead , and is seated at the right hand of the Father .

I believe in the Holy Spirit , the holy Catholic Church , the communion of saints , the forgiveness of sins , the resurrection of the body , and life everlasting .

Thank you , Father , for the gift of Mary , mother of your Son , given by Him to be our mother .

Mary , my mother , help me , so that never may a day go by when I neglect to say with joy and thanksgiving I AM BAPTISED .
 
Thank you Lord for my much underrated existence. I just wish they all appreciated me as much as you do.

Mine is June 7, for which I am very, very thankful.

Adding on to my own response just now, I’m thankful to hear my 4-yo say grace without being told before he eats his mac n’ cheese!
 
I am greatful especially for this last year of discernment. God has been so good and perfect in preparing me over these past several months, (especially through suffering) and I am at a place where I feel “ready” for whatever is next.

I’m grateful for the support God has placed in my life, that I have a few Simons to help me carry my crosses.

I’m grateful that God enters into our woundedness and then ministers to others through our pain and healing process.

Praised be Jesus and Mary now and forever! ^^

I thank the good Lord for humour.

I also am thankful for the good cheer of the world cup which brings people together.

I am also thankful for the beautiful lady in my life.

I am most thankful at the moment for the continuing improvement of my father’s health.

and I’m thankful for my maths counting skills. 🙂

Today I want to thank the Lord for being well after an operation, for the kind doctors ans the care taking people here, for my husband & friends being there.
I thank you Lord for the break in my routine, for being forced to have time to read and pray.

For confession, finding a priest who I felt relieved to confess to, and finally my best examination of conscience!

Thank you , Father , for the gift of another day , for Val and Andrew whom I met in town and spent some time with , and for Ali on the market from whom I bought two summer shirts .
