Can someone please explain the differance between Grave and Moral sins, and list a few examples of each? And which one of them are the Ten Commandments?

A Mortal sin is always grave.
A few examples:
Because sex is a serious matter (grave) masterbation may be a mortal sin if the other two conditions are met.
Lying may grave if it’s “life or death.” Or not grave if you say you like my haircut but think you could have done a better job yourself with just a weedwacker.
Issues of life and death are grave so actions like abortion, murder, suicide again may be mortal.

This examination of conscience is the best one I’ve found. Just click on the link where it says ‘Examination of Conscience’ for the online version.

It gives guidance as to the three conditions necessary for a mortal sin (which are grave matter, full knowledge and free consent). It also gives a good guide as to what types of sin are grave matter (possibly mortal) and which are not. And it goes through each of the 10 commandments, first in regard to the grave/mortal sins attached to that commandment, then in regards to the venial sins.

Grave means serious, the ten commandments are a good example.

I’m assuming you meant “mortal.”

To be a mortal sin, as in to seperate your will from God through your actions, it must fulfill three conditions. It must be grave (serious), you must have free consent of the will (it must be your choice), and you must have full knoweldege (must know its wrong.)
