If someone who is a stranger attacks you or commits some fault against you, would it be considered detraction to reveal their fault to people who do not know them and would likely have no previously formed reputation in mind for that person? I wish to note that the revelation was NOT meant to be malicious, but in seeking emotional support and ensuring other people were not in danger. Would love to hear opinions on this…
