Great Fast - Sunday Forgiveness

ПРОЩЕНОЕ ВОСКРЕСЕНЬЕ FORGIVENESS SUNDAY

On this Sunday 1- March, before Monday first day of Great Fast, believers at Evening service ask for forgiveness saying, God will forgive, I forgive, and ask for forgiveness for their own sins, errors.

I ask forgiveness for any offense to any on this Sait - to any Catolic, non-believer and other Orthodox believer that I have offended by my remarks.

Patriarch Kirill also bowed down to ask forgiveness of Church for his errors:

 
To any I have offended or wronged: forgive me, a sinner. :gopray: And to all: God forgives.
 
I went to Vespers this evening. I’d never gone before, and I didn’t know what to say!

Instead of saying “Forgive me/God forgives and I forgive,” I ended up saying “God Forgive Me” each time I greeted a person! 😛

Oh well, at least it was a forgivable mistake.
 
God does forgive, how great is His Forgiveness!

I’m not worthy to say this, but God Forgive me for all my sins!

I hope that this Lent will be as great for me as it has been this first week. Keep giving me tasks through the whole Lent, Lord.

An unworthy sinner says Peace and God bless!
