Down under! Wonderful!Ok
No I dont live in America unfortunately,i wish i did
im in Australia and there is a small Russian Cath community which uses a small chapel in the back buildings of a Latin Catholic church St Brigids
they are with the melkites and therye church is called St Nicholas
St. Nicholas Russian Catholic Church is on Facebook as “Trinity-St. Nicholas Russian Catholic Church”. There is not a whole lot there at the moment but they do have “First Liturgy (St Sabbas) and Vespers (St Nicholas) at the new church today. Slava tyebe Gospodi!” posted on December 18, 2011 on their Facebook “wall”. Those dates are old calendar for St Sabbas and St Nicholas the Wonderworker.
From their Facebook it appears they purchased and moved to a new location near the end of last year, 2011, to an old Congregation Church at 72 Hotham Street St Kilda East. Photos and some interesting history of the property at that link.
It doesn’t say so on their Facebook, but hopefully they will be offering Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts on Wed. & Fri. in Great Lent (end of this month). It would be so wonderful if you would go visit them and bring back news to us.
