Although this sounds good - faith is a little more complicated than that.well they said to them “do you belive that jesus died for you?”
they shouted yes
they say " how we beptise you in the name of… the holy spirit
dunk!
they spoke to them before so it wasnt just they baptise anyone but then again isnt that what jtheb did?
Faith may be habitual or actual.
Habitual faith is the habit or virtue of faith which, along with the other supernatural virtues, is infused into the soul by God together with sanctifying grace in Baptism. Such faith is sufficient for salvation in the case of infants, of children who have not reached the use of reason, and of persons who are insane.
Habitual faith, however, does not suffice for those who have the use of reason. These, in addition to habitual faith, must possess actual faith; that is, they are obliged to make acts of faith by which the infused capacity to believe is actually exercised, developed and strengthened. It is not enough merely to have the faith; we must act the faith, we must live the faith in our daily lives.
