Hey everyone! I just wanted to share with you a piece of good news I received today. In April of this year, I took the New York State Corrections exam. It was my first civil service test (I’m 19 and still in college), and I really did not know what to expect. Well, I received my results in the mail today, and I passed it! Not only that, but I have a pretty high ranking, which means there is a high probability that I will get called and asked to complete the next step of the hiring process. Fingers crossed right now.
My family has been having some financial difficulties, and so if I get this job, my parents won’t have to worry anymore. So this is a wonderful piece of hope, and I feel so blessed that God has given me this opportunity. I haven’t been this happy in the longest time, and I just needed to share it with someone! Thank you all so much for your prayers.
