My brothers and sisters, think about this…it’s not being driven by my generation…no, it’s not. It’s coming from younger generations…which bears some thought.
First off, thanks for saying all that. It really means a lot. To me it does, anyway.

I’m 22 and all my friends who are pursuing priesthood with me are all about the TLM. There is quite a few of us and all of us are fed up with the state of the Church. While I am the only one who attends weekly, they usually always retreat to my church once a month for High Mass. If all of us get ordained, God willing, hopefully we can offer the Classical Mass and inspire another generation. Then in 2-3 generations the Church will be in MUCH better shape.

Don’t forget the rest of us comin’ in!

I feel I’m called to marry. I plan to raise my kids as good little Traditional Catholics.

In addition to teaching them the Traditions I’m also doing somtihng else. TEACHING THE WHY OF IT!!!

I know way to many former Catholics in the occult scene that where never told why. ‘It was just the Catholic thing to do…’ I feel that additiude lead to the mess we are in now.

No. Thank you! I am fortunate in that my parish is an orthodox cathedral parish in which I have been blessed to sing in the choir for 18 years. Our Mass may be in English but we sing and chant in Latin. My sons 22 and 25 grew up with at least that much (i.e. hearing Latin and they can chant the Kyrie, Sanctus, and Agnus Dei since we use them during Lent).

I watched the video (and the further ones listed on YouTube) of the St. Louis TLM. I listened to the Gloria and found myself singing along. Granted - I was an altar boy and I did sing in the children’s choir back in the late 50s, early 60s - but if I can remember how to sing the congregation’s response to the Gloria - what a powerful thing I learned all those years ago!

And so, I tip my hat to you young adults! Pursue your dreams!
