Green Scapular For Someone At Work?

I don’t know if this would be odd for me to do or not…I have a man at work how was told yesterday that he has lung cancer. I have read some pretty amazing (if I could think of something better than amazing that is the word I would use) stories about people being told that they were going to die and there was NO hope and then someone gives them the green scapular and tells them to put it under their matress or next to their bed and then God’s amazing grace heals them. I know he isn’t religious…would it be bad if I told him what the meaning of the green scapular was and why I’m giving it to him?

Why not? The worst he could do is say “no”. But if he says “yes”, well, he can put it near him, wear it in his pocket, or even around his neck. Note: SOMEONE has to say the prayer at least once a day. If he will not, you can do it for him.

I gave one to some friends who are not catholic and because they believe Jesus can heal the same right came on them. Their uncle who was given 5 working days to live started getting better and in one month he gained stibility, and in another month there was no sign of the cancer and he was back at work
