Green Scapular users

I got two Green Scapulars as a gift from a friend. I put one in my house to pray for my family, and the other I’ll put for me - won’t starting using now because my mother will probably freak.

Does anyone also does the devotion for beloved ones here?

I was going to tape one to the bottom of my husband’s computer that he spent hours every day on, but he died before I got the green scapular in the mail that I was going to use.

Fr. Heilman had us hide them on the National Mall to make it holy again.

I got one later at a charismatic Mass and kept it for me.

Thank you. I trust in Jesus to take care of that, but welcome any prayer as God can apply the prayers at any time including at the time in the past when the person died.

I put a blessed green scapular under my husband’s side of the mattress and prayed for him every day for years. Many other prayers were said for him, rosaries, etc.

Several months before he died he went to confession, and felt very good about it. Sacramentals are powerful in that they remind us to pray.

Oh…I just remembered…one day we were turning the mattress together and he got upset when he saw the green scapular exposed under the side he slept on. I stayed calm and said nothing, thanks be to the Lord. The peace of the Lord helps at these times!
