Green Scapular?

The Green Scapular was given to a certain saint by Our Lady (can’t remember the saint’s name).

It is used for cures and conversions. There is a short prayer written on the Scapular the person must say every day, or else the giver of the Scapular must say it in their place. It can be worn by the person, or placed in their vicinity or in their belongings, with or without their knowledge. It can be blessed by any priest and there is no enrollment necessary. I have read different things about the Green Scapular regarding the writing of names on the scapular. One place that gives away free Green Scapulars includes a paper that says you can write people’s names on the scapular, as many as you can fit. Other places don’t mention the writing of the name on the scapular at all.

I have all my family and friends’ names written on scapulars and my husband has a higher-quality wool one under his pillow. I pray the prayer everyday for all of them, (just one prayer for all), as the lone Catholic in a sea of unchurched or Protestant aquaintences.

Here’s some questions I have:

If you’re using the scapular for conversion and putting it in someone’s room, wouldn’t it be best not to get the scapular blessed in case it is thrown away?

Do you have to pray the prayer on the scapular for each person you are trying to convert or only say it once for all the persons?

Should you have the first scapular (that you keep for yourself) blessed before giving out other scapulars to other people?

Thanks
