Gregorian Masses

Hello my friends.
I have recently come across the concept of Gregorian Masses, and that basically they are Masses conducted for thirty days for the release of a soul in Purgatory. I have just been wondering, could such Masses br offered only for a single soul or for all the souls in Purgatory? Say, also if a person wanted to have Gregorian Masses, how would he go about having them said?

Not sure about releasing a soul from Purgatory, but if I had my way, all Masses would be sung in Gregorian Chant.
