My father passed away a couple weeks ago. I remember listening to Colin Donovan on EWTN about a year ago or so when his own father passed away and mentioned that he had a Gregorian Mass said for him. I did a Google search and found groups asking anywhere from $80 to $300. $300 is a little steep for my budget but I would like to do everything possible for Dad.

I don’t just want to send a check to someone I know nothing about. Can anyone give me a few suggestions on where I might have this done? Sorry if this is not the right forum for this question.

Thanks,
John

Here is the outfit I use…

Going over my budget, currently as an RCIA Candidate, and perhaps a penetent in 4-5 years, I find I can spend $150/month on Gregorian masses.

For October, that was for my Father, who died in 1962. For November, for a FOAF

And December will be for my cousin who died several years ago from drug addiction.

And one more soul every month thereafter
