And I was 24 when we married so most of my life surrounded him.we have a beautiful family, it just so lonely…

Dear Sunny. I will pray for you in my Wednesday’s rosary. I see your name is sunnyb4, I pray you will also feel sunny going forward also. God bless and keep you. TERESADIANE:harp:

You are not alone. God is with you. Praying for the repose of your husband’s soul. Praying for your intentions as well.

Praying for you…

:signofcross:

Grant, O Lord, to all who are bereaved the spirit of faith and
courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to
come with steadfastness and patience; not sorrowing as those
without hope, but in thankful remembrance of your great
goodness, and in the joyful expectation of eternal life with
those they love. And this we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ
our Savior. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

:signofcross:

Sunny, you’ve come to the right place. May you feel the power and solace of my prayer for you and those of this body of Christ, whose members constantly recall (for me too) that ultimate love that feeds and refreshes all earthly loves. God be with you and your family in this time of grief and remembrance.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of your husband. May the God of all comfort be with you and give you hope for a relief from your lonliness. May you enjoy your beautiful family and find a way to ease your grief.
Mary.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband. Praying today for the repose of his soul. May the Lord grant comfort to all who grieve for him, especially you. God bless.

God grant you peace and strength as you grieve. I will pray for you to be sunny again.

May the Lord send you His Holy Spirit to give you strength, wisdom and peace to overcome this period of your life. May the Lord surround you and your all family with His love.

Praying that the Lord may comfort you and strengthen you with all necessary graces.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

“Sunny”: I am sorry to hear of your loss and sorrow.

Please don’t think there is something wrong with you because you are still in a state of grief or having a hard time moving forward. There is not a time limit on grief. My dad’s first year after losing our mother was very difficult on him. He had trouble even in the second and third year, but each day he was able to move forward a bit at a time.

It might help to do some volunteer work with children or even animals, the sick or at Church. It simply helps occupy your time and get your mind elsewhere. Being married for that many years is not something you just get over, so don’t think you should be fine now.

Hang in there, take things a day at a time and trust that God will help you along the way. Soon good memories will become a comfort for you. May God bless you with His mercy.

Prayer for Widows

Most loving God, you know the pain and sorrow of death; mercifully hear our prayer for those who mourn the death of their beloved. The nights are lonely and the days are too long. Comfort them and bring an end to the days of tears. Bless them and bring an end to their days of sorrow. Renew them with the joy of life and bring to an end their days of mourning. Let the bond of love which you have for your people be the foundation of their hope that love never ends and that precious moments with our beloved are forever held dear in our hearts. Amen.

Holy Mary, Mother of Sorrows, pray for us and obtain for us God’s peace and grace to comfort us. Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen. :signofcross:
