We watched this movie, via Netflix. I found it very interesting. Rated R for language. If you figure your kids know the ‘F’ word, it shouldn’t bother you.
I give it a thumbs up. A very neutral examination of this man and his ‘work’. It’s more a look at his personality and eccentricity. I thought his comments on homosexuality were insightful, as he grappled with his failures with women and bemoaned the fact that he wasn’t gay, saying how much simpler life must be for homosexuals who didn’t have to cater to women.
The kids loved the foxes the best, and couldn’t figure out why he liked the bears so much. It examined his drug use, and former alcoholism. Really, a very good movie, I reccomend it.
