For a long time now, I have been doing a lot of things to grow closer to God, such as going to adoration, reading the bible etc. I have been doing a lot of ‘choosing to forgive’ not forgiving because it feels good.
Lately, God has given me some insight. It has dawned on me that the reason I still have so much anger towards someone is not only because of his cruel actions but also, somehow I ended up believing I owned his baggage and God showed me it was not my job to fix it but this persons choice what to do with it. I must admit, it was not a possibility I would have considered in the past. I see it as a good indication of something for me to work on.
However, my day to day life is not any easier or happier. I am trying to let go of my agenda of all the things I think would make me happier and trying to hear what God’s will is for me. However, as much as God gave me the insight mentioned above, I still do not hear His will any more clearer.
And I sure do not trust Him anymore. It is down right confusing to clearly hear His voice, yet still feel so lost
Any insight or stories of similar experiences would be appreciated
