Hi all in Christ,

I wonder if you do believe in Guardian Angel and/or experienced once or several times with this celestial being in your life?

I did believe in this celestial being then, but since I read Padre Pio books and how he got along well with his own even could see him and talked to him and especially that Padre Pio advised his spiritual sons and daughters to honour their own guardian angels I got starting to pray and talk to my own guardian angel too as I do still in my daily life.I experienced this celestial being much closer/more private in my urgent needs even I experienced this celestial being’s touches on my hand and shoulder:) and I cherished that moment and what a blessing that i won’t forget ever!I experienced my guardian angel’s protection on me too.One time I wanted to cross the street and suddenly someone almost hit me with his motorbike and a strong hand pushed me on time and another time I by accident leaned backward while as far as I was concerned there’s no fence to lean on and before I fell back a strong hand pulled me.I’m so grateful to God by sending me this beautiful angel:)

Share your stories and honour your Guardian Angels too…They love us and love to be cherised:)

Yes, I do, and I believe that in general all Christians believe there are guardian angels.

Guardian Angel is watching after us and we can ask our guardian angel to protect you. I too have had supernatural experiences and I thought that was guardian angel.

One thing that I’ve learned from my experience is that I should live my life according to the teaching of Jesus and that will also make my guardian angel happy. Every time I do something bad, my guardian angel is sad for seeing that. That’s how I believe.

Thanks for the topic.

I believe either the Guardian Angel or the hand of God is with me all the time. I am not sure about which…My impression is that it is an angel. .how can we tell it is an angel?

Hi,

Guardian Angel is sent by God to protect us and as I experienced it’s def.my guardian angel’s presence while I needed him/her most.I pray to my guardian angel in my daily life too.I am telling you now one of my stories regarding his/her presence around me…
One night before I went to sleep I said my prayer to my guardian angel to wake me up in the morning at a certain time as at times I didn’t hear my waking-up clock and exactly some minutes before I had to wake up a touch slapped on my hand and still deep in my sleep I tried to open my eyes and looked at my waking-up clock that it’s not time for me to stand up so I laid down again, but then clearly I had to stand up as I didn’t hear my waking-up clock screaming some celestial being presence woke me up by slapping me so hard on my shoulder as I slept on my side and at that moment I jumped out my bed and yes,I was almost late going to work!I thanked God by sending him/her and thank God still for His guardian angel. So what I believe that touches were from my guardian angel as I prayed to him/her on behalf of our God.

wow, an angel alarm clock! I know that there MUST be angels all over the streets and highways, I see so many close calls…

Hi cherubim,

Do I believe in guardian angels?
Mat 18:10 See that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
Unless Jesus was joking or speaking figuratively, yes I do. My life was saved by mysterious circumstances too often to think I don’t have someone such as a guardian angel watching over me.

With love,
George

Catholics must believe in guardian angels. See the Catechism:

CCC 336 From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession. “**Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life.” **Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.

Statics show that even though angels are pure spirit & are not male or female, women tend to think of theirs as male & men tend to think of theirs as female. I call mine Gabriella. My niece drew a picture for me of a beautiful strong woman with wings and a sword. I have that tattooed on my right forearm. For me it is not only a beautiful piece of art, it is a reminder that my Guardian Angel is always with me.

Yes,I agree with you regarding guardian angels are spiritual beings, neither male nor female.I call mine pearl as it represents a purity of soul/spirit.

I absolutely know that I have a guardian angel. This angel has been with me my entire life. I’ve seen her and I’ve heard her voice. Literally. She has saved my life from a devestating airplane accident and has protected me from demons. She brought me the bible in a dream as a child. She told me that all I ever needed was in those pages. I also feel she is the one that guided me to the Catholic church only a short time ago so that I could feel at home on this earth.

:bigyikes: I suppose I should rename my GA from Michael to a female name then ??? I’m way to used to calling him Mike.

I can not tell if you are just poking friendly fun or being condescending. Which is it.

Guardian Angels Are Spiritual Beings And Neither Male Nor Female.

Yes, I made that clear. Did something I posted upset you? Please tell me 🙂 because I did not intend to :o
No,you didn’t upset me:) I just wanted to make that clear too to everybody that guardian angels are spiritual beings and to call it by either male or female name it’s up to us,our guardian angels will love them:)

I read in, Love, Peace, and Joy, a book about St. Gertrude’s writings on the devotion to the Sacred Heart by Rev. Andre Prevot, that it’s a good practice to ask your angel to go before the Blessed Sacrament once an hour and offer praise in your stead.

I’ve been doing this of late and found it’s a great way to stay focused on God’s presence and not get sucked into the all the dripple of the worldly circumstances of my day.

Best, :tiphat:
