I have never felt the presence of a (my) guardian angel. I see people discussing theirs regularly. Should I be worried?

Not at all. I don’t think most people feel their presence. They’re there, but don’t worry about ‘feeling’ anything. No worries at all 🙂

Please don’t be concerned. I only occasionally think of my GA, but I know they’re always there for us. I also believe that the more we stray, the more the fallen angels get in the way of our GAs.

Be a good teammate! Persevere and pray.

Pax Christi.

Have you tried talking to your Guardian Angel? I don’t say to expect a response, but your angel is your constant companion. Talking to your angel will bring an awareness of his presence. Sometimes when I’m really tired or upset, and I’m driving, I’ll ask my angel to please drive for me. Of course I don’t take my hands from the steering wheel, but it helps to know that I can count on him to help keep me alert. St. Padre Pio was able to see and communicate with his Guardian Angel from childhood. I have strongly felt that on two occasions I had visual evidence of my own Guardian Angel. I couldn’t prove it, but I had no doubt at the time. Try to be aware of your angels presence and you’ll never feel alone.

I never feel my Guardian Angel’s presence, but I know that he has on at least 2 occasions saved me from serious injury or death. When he acted, it was in a noticeable and inexplicable manner. So I know he is there, even though I don’t “feel” his presence.

If that were the case, could you imagine what a bundle of nerves everyone would be for the times we couldn’t feel the presence of our Blessed Lord in Holy Communion ?

🙂

I’d say it quite possibly might provide for a stronger faith - believing in your guardian Angel’s presence without being able to feel it.

👍

How do you talk to your GA? have they ever responded? Would love to hear any atoies of people who have communicated with theirs

I’ve had a couple of encounters with my Guardian Angel, but putting them into words would not do them justice. Each time I wasn’t aware it was my Guardian Angel until the experience had ended. Then came the enlightenment. However, there was no doubt in my mind that I had been privileged to communicate with my special guardian. Certainly the day will come when there will be no barriers to our communication. I suspect he will take me on that final journey to my judgment. Although I talk with him daily, I’ll have a lot to thank him for.

But hoe do you talk to him/her? prayer, do you just chat? Will they eve simply “answer” you? How can you find out who your GA is?

I begin and end each day with the Guardian Angel prayer. Then during the day, if and when a need arises, I ask for the help I need, and thank him and the Lord for the help given. The second time I saw my Guardian Angel, was not in response to a need, but was a friendly gesture. I have no idea how many appearances peoples’ Guardian Angels make throughout their lives. I only know that I was blessed to see mine twice, because I was given the knowledge after each appearance. God has His own reasons for what He does. I can only be grateful.

I have felt mine and know he/she is always near. Many years ago when I was in college I was in a terrible car accident. A lady ran a red light and t-boned the car I was a passenger in on my side, and pushed the car a good distance down the road. I saw her hit us, but I never felt it, and was not injured, not a scratch. The police said it was a miracle we were alive let along unhurt. I told the police that it felt like somebody had picked me up and put me on the softest pillow or comforter ever imagined and set us down when the car came to a stop. When it did come to a stop, a man was walking down the side of the road and stopped, asked us if we were okay, then gave us a card that said “believe in God” and some other stuff. Funny thing is the police could not find him. They wanted him as a witness, but he just disappeared it seemed. I think the cops thought I was delusional. My friend was hysterical but unhurt. I was never more at peace and normally I would have been in hysterics with her.

If that was just a small taste of what awaits us in heaven, then it is beyond any beauty the human mind could imagine.
