We’ll start easy here, OK?

This quote, although well used by now in many places, originated in in which movie?:

"BADGES? WE DON’T NEED NO STINKIN’ BADGES !"

“treasure of the sierra madre”😃

although it’s actually:

“badges? we ain’t got no badges. we don’t need no badges. i don’t have to show you any stinking badges!”

mine:

“there’s always free cheese in a mousetrap”

What are our rules? Can we answer 2 different questions in the same day?(I want to try hardcorps1775’s quote too)

there’s no rule as to how many you can answer in a day. The two big rules we have are:
  1. No cheating. Don’t use a search engine to try and find an answer. You can use a search engine to provide a quote if you are the quote giver.
  2. Wait for the giver to let you know you are correct before you post up a new quote. (A rule that hardcorp1775 actually violated. that’s ok though, he’s new and probably didn’t see the second list of rules)
for a more refined list of the rules, they were originally defined in these two posts:
forums.catholic-questions.org/showpost.php?p=447717&postcount=1
forums.catholic-questions.org/showpost.php?p=454647&postcount=94

Okay, here’s my quote.

“I’ve just decided to switch our Friday schedule to Monday, which means that the test we take each Friday on what we learned during the week will now take place on Monday before we’ve learned it. But since today is Tuesday, it doesn’t matter in the slightest.”

Great job! Your turn to post a quote.

I guessed first! I win! 😃 My quote is: **You’re an interesting species, an interesting mix. You’re capable of such beautiful dreams and such horrible nightmares. You feel so lost, so cut off, so alone, only you’re not. See, in all our searching, the only thing we’ve found that makes the emptiness bearable is each other. **

Very well,… a hint you shall have. The star of this movie was once a young FBI agent (in another movie). In this particular movie,… she’s “still waiting for ET to call”.

Robswife… you win. The movie is Contact starring Jodie Foster. The line itself was spoken by her character’s father by an actor whose name I can’t recall at the moment. Very good,… you’re up.:blessyou:

Ok, my dear husband spends too much time at the video store. (He worked at Blockbuster for 4 years * 5 free movies a week.)

How about an easy one from one of his favorites? Here you go:

"It’s a well known fact there’s a secret society of the 5 wealthiest in the world know as the Pentaveret. Who run everything in the world including the newspapers and meet tri-annually in Colorado in mansion know as The Meadows.

So who’s in this “Pentaveret”?

The queen, the vatican, the Getty’s, the Rothchilds, and Colonel before he went heads up."

faithfulservantso i married an axe murderer

Yep! "Guess we could’ve made it harder with only using “HEAD! Move! Look at that? It’s a virtual planatoid.”

Your turn.
