Guideposts magazine
was founded by the late reverend Norman Vincent Peale.
It’s a lot of sweet fluff and not much more.
 
I used to have a subscription and remember there being stories with catholics in them. Average people submitt their stories, so depends on who sends them in.

Its stories of peoples lives and things that happen to them. sorta like a christian readers digest. It can be uplifting, but sometimes reading about how someone overcame tragedy can be not uplifting.

Just depends on what you like to read.
