Guidelines to Praying Rosary/Divine Mercy

In regards to the Title:

Is it acceptable to pray while sitting? Or must I make an effort to kneel while performing such prayer. A little insight would be of help.

I started this recently I don’t see why you should kneel if you’d rather like to sit.
It depends of what your intentions are too, I think.

But I’m no expert.

As far as I know, you can pray it in any posture you feel comfortable in. Some people pray the Rosary while driving (just be careful, of course, and keep one eye on the road if you do ), others pray while walking. While kneeling is the most reverent, it’s not always the most practical.

I also recommend praying as you walk. It helps me to better “insert” myself into the meditations.
