Well the bake sale & rummage sale are now complete. I was very surprised by the cooperation that the girls were able to show each other, although there was a bit of a melt-down in that on the last afternoon of the the event. Still, a group of 12 year olds held it together pretty darn well (better than I expected).
I honestly donāt know the final amount they earned, it was not quite up to the personal goal that I set, but it was certainly more than if they had not participated. I know at least 2 of the days they worked they generated over $100 for each of those days. And I donāt know what they made on Friday. Saturday was cut short by rain (they had a tent outside but very few customers so they closed up about 2pm). Still, Fr Peter was very happy on Sunday when my daughter turned over the earnings to him.
