I bought quite a bit of a certen product and now im sad beucase it was made my a non beliver this whlole time 😦

What type of product is it? Certain products are blessed through your use of them, such as rosaries, and almost anything may be blessed by the church. The only thing I can think of which would be really problematic would be iconography, because that needs to be made by a practicing believer. If that’s the case, you could try e-Bay to re-coup the cost. Otherwise, just take it to your priest and ask to have it blessed.

Unless the problem is that you spent more than you thought prudent because you desired to help a fellow Christian, and it turns out the person was not what he claimed to be. In that case, you could offer up your suffering as prayers for his conversion.

that i cant use it any more thats what makes me sad and it was just a normal product

Josh, sometimes, we have to give up things that we want to hang on to. I too got rid quite few things that I used to love - For instance, when I am going to move to a new apartment in June, I will not take much with me including my 32 inch TV, my 15 gallon aquarium with fish. It is the biggest TV I had ever had and it is a beautiful fish tank.

I know I am giving up for a good reason, then I let that overcome my sadness.

There are many things in this earthly life that we want to get a hold of, by practicing not to get so attached to such things can somehow help you grow spiritually.

I think it would help if you told exactly what you bought and what you are using the product for.

do u buy from no belivers tho
I have no idea WHAT the faith is of those who sell the products I buy. Where did you get the idea that this would be a problem?

There are lots of things in this world you can be sad about. This isn’t one of them.

I think we may have a language problem.

If I’m understanding you correctly, it is not a sin to buy your groceries or food from a non-believer. If it is convenient to buy from a believer, then do that. But do not worry about buying a product that is not prohibited by the Catholic church from a non-believer.

You cannot dig so deeply into other people’s personal lives and beliefs to determine if they are believers or not.

I hope this helps.

Why would anybody want to know the state of belief or unbelief or religious faith of any person from whom he buys a product? I buy a lot of things and for the most part have no idea whether the sellers are believers or unbelievers.

it is simply not possible to judge or find out the beliefs, moral character and political views of each and every owner, shareholder and employee of each and every company that manufactures, distributes or sells the dozens of products we consume every day. If you beat yourself up over this you run the risk of becoming scrupulous, a very damaging spiritual disorder. Give it a rest.
