I found the inclusion of Edmund Burke as a neocon influence somewhat curious.

Burke was a staunch opponent of the French Revolution. The same revolutionary, Jacobin spirit which pervaded France at the time bears some resemblance to the jingoistic, militarist-nationalist tone of the Bush administration in the Middle East. I doubt Burke would have approved.
