What is the difference between a Benedictine Monk Habit, and a Cowl?

Also, what does a full-length scapular look like? I’m talking about the kind that some religious orders wear.

Okay, thanks. Now the hooded garb that the Monks use when chanting the Divine office, are those cowls, or the habit? It seems that they wear more of a wide-sleeved, hooded tunic when in choir.
That website link answers that, too. Scroll down the page a little to the cuculla. It explains the dress robe and the hood.

So the cowl just refers to the hood part. And the cuculla doesn’t actually have a hood, the hood is from the habit underneath?
