I had prostate surgery on Wednesday, 01’20/10. Could use any and all prayers for good results on the lymph biopsies for fighting the post-surgery anger and depression I’ve been feeling. I’ve been asking Our Lady (through numerous Rosaries), and St. Michael the Archangel(to fight the Devil’s weapon, Despair), and Ven. Fr. Solanus Casey(was known to aid in healings here in the Detroit area while he was still bodily alive), and St. Peregrin(for aid in fighting cancers). Would like as much help from the Church Militant here on Earth as I can get!
Many thanks and blessings to you all!!!

John,

As a fellow cancer survivor, I know what you are going through. My prayers are with you.

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Amen

There is an Icon of Our Lady and prayers available on line under her title Panagia Pantanassa (Breath of all), also known as Healer of Cancer.

I will pray for you and that you will have a quick recovery.

God bless you!

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

John,

Lifting you in prayer and sending along wishes for better health.

Peace to you during this difficult time,
Kathleen

John, I wouldn’t find your anger and depression surprising after such an illness and such surgery, and the uncertainty that still hands over you. I would imagine it would make someone extremely vulnerable. And I’d imagine that your system has undergone considerable shock, therefore it’s hardly surprising that your emotions are all over the place, without even knowing other specifics of your life at present.
It sounds like you’re fighting very hard with yourself.
Lord Jesus please help John to go gently through this time.
I’m sure You understand how he feels and will help him through.
Thank You, Jesus

John, my prayers are certainly with you. I had prostate surgery 10 years ago, and I’m still kicking. While it’s not the most pleasent thing thats happened to me, it could be a lot worse. This past nov. my wife was diagnosed with non-Hodgekins lymphome, stage 4. She has had 3 rounds of chemo, and the issue is still in doubt. We’ll know more as time goes on. Just do what the docs say, and keep up with your psa tests. Prostate cancer is one of the most surviveable cancers, so don’t give up. They have made a lot of progress in the last 10 years in the treatment, so it’s no longer a death sentence. If you have any questions about the aftermath of the surgery, e-mail me at mocdavy@aol.com. Maybe I can help, and as I said, you have my prayers. Dave in Ohio

I pray that you are a cancer survivor. I had prostate surgery, May 1, 2009. Today, I am cancer free.
Be with me Lord, When I am in trouble. Be with me Lord I pray.

My Thanks to one and all for the prayers and suggestions. I just need the time to heal physically and spiritually after this sneak attack on my person. I thank Our Lord for finding me a doctor that insisted on 6 month blood tests. 6 months prior to the diagnosis there was no sign of it. My wife is a cancer survivor of approx 4.5 years(endometrial uterine) and after all she has been through and the terrible discomfort that the catheter has been giving me(Vlad the Impaler had nothing on this device), it’s no wonder I got a bit down. But I can feel your prayers and wishes lifting me up and again I want to thank you all. Dave from Ohio, you can be sure that I’ll add your wife to my list. Thank You!!!👍
