What is Hades?

What is the meaning for the saying " By his death and resurrection he has purchased the rewards of eternal life? , “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man” (John 3:13) in the answer to Nicodemus.
Where are souls of righteous people died in faith waiting for the second coming of Jesus is it the Hades or Paradise ? where the souls of Enoch and Elias and what about the resurrection of bodies (mentioned in the apostolic creeds)and meeting in the air during the second coming of Jesus?

What is Hades?

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
Scripture calls the abode of the dead, to which the dead Christ went down, “hell” — Sheol in Hebrew or Hades in Greek—because those who are there are deprived of the vision of God.480 Such is the case for all the dead, whether evil or righteous, while they await the redeemer: which does not mean that their lot is identical, as Jesus shows through the parable of the poor man Lazarus who was received into “Abraham’s bosom”:481 “It is precisely these holy souls, who awaited their Savior in Abraham’s bosom, whom Christ the Lord delivered when he descended into hell.”482 Jesus did not descend into hell to deliver the damned, nor to destroy the hell of damnation, but to free the just who had gone before him.

Through Christ’s death and resurrection, the gates of heaven are now open to us. If we die in a state of grace we can be with Him in heaven.

“No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man” (John 3:13) in the answer to Nicodemus.

To ascend is to go up through one’s own power. Only Christ is capable of this since he is God. For example, Christ ascended into heaven, while Mary was assumed into heaven by God.

Where are souls of righteous people died in faith waiting for the second coming of Jesus is it the Hades or Paradise ?

The righteous who died before the Resurrection were in Hades or Sheol. After the Resurrection, the righteous go to Heaven(Paradise). Souls that still need purgation go to Purgatory, but will ultimately be in Heaven.

Where the souls of Enoch and Elias

In Heaven, presumably with their bodies.

and what about the resurrection of bodies

On the last day we will be resurrected, our bodies and souls will be reunited.

Thanks a lot for the wonderful confirmation answer I have received from you. (Sorry I am so excited since after kowing all this things in revelation and rapture ) I am hearing this answers as a confirmation. Now I will confidently tell the truth to a group of people who will listen to my views earnestly. The last line I have not quoted correctly but it is this

The Rapture is an event when the Lord Jesus himself will come from heaven and with a command, believers who have died and have gone on to heaven will rise first (in their new glorified body) to meet Jesus in the air. Those who are alive at that time and have accepted Jesus as their savior will instantly be transformed into their new glorified body and at the same time rise up to meet Jesus in the air (1 Corinthians 15:50, 52).
