Looks like he is not only anti-Catholic, but anti-Christian as well…

Yeah. That wacko-fundamentalist said that the Roman Catholic Church and the Episcopal Church would merge and form a “One-world satanic religion.,” complete with gay bishops and paedophiliac priests. Ironically, he also asserted that some wayward evangelical communities would join in on it.

…Defending the state of Israel by making excuses. I think that this is something that both Christians and Muslims can agree is wrong…What does everyone else think?

Prayers and petitions,
Alexius:cool:
What? Are you anti-semitic?! Israel is the rightful land of the Jewish people, the only truly democratic power in the Mid East. I was promised to them by God in the Old Testament.

What?! How did you reach that conclusion?

I feel a close bond with the Jewish people as an Eastern European, having had many of my people killed together with them in Hitler’s camps. What I am saying is that Mr. Hagee is making up excuses for the Jews rejecting Jesus as the Messiah byt saying that Jesus never claimed he was the Messiah. I am not trying to turn this into a political battle! When I say “state of Israel,” I mean the people of the Jewish faith. Israel naturally represents the Jewish faith and heritage. Hagee has an attachment to Israel that is dangerous…

On a side note; however, many orthodox Jews do not believe Isreal to be of God. It is secular and democratic, so they believe it to be not founded on/by God, but rather by the democratic West…🤷

What Hagee is missing is that after Jesus, the Catholic Church is the new Israel, not the state of Israel in the middle East.

Oh. Interesting. I heard they are trying to re-form the Sanhedrin, and that they even have floorplans for a new Temple.

Hagee is ultimate proof of what sola scriptura has caused since it’s invention. Hagee is part of the burger king church where you can have it your way, whatever way you decide to interpret the scriptures.

Did you guys read your bibles at all? Before they executed Jesus, Jesus refused to claim He was the Messiah by word or deed.

It’s obvious you guys only want to hear what scratches your ears.

2Ti 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

:newidea:

Brilliant! If only the Apostles had left us something other than just Scripture, something that helped us understand Scripture, so this sort of thing wouldn’t happen!:doh2:
You would think Jesus would have apointed one of the Disciples to lead a Church so this kind of stuff couldnt happen…

Thanks for the correct use of your. After all, the Bible is the book of the Catholic Church. We are the original, and only authentic, Bible Christians.

And you walked away because…

Yes, and Rev 17 and 18 prove it.

BTW, I read MY bible often. And I love what God says in His Word.

Which verses are you referng to?

you’ll have to read it for yourself. I recommend a King James in case your bible has removed or edited the story.
What, is your little independent community claiming to be the One True Church? If not, what authority does it possess?

By the way, I have a King James Bible, the original one that comes with the Deuterocanon. All the original King James have it.

Don’t know if your comment is funny or sad. But I assume you mean the same King James who commissioned some of his subjects to give him his own translation. The same King James whose wife, Anne of Denmark, converted to Catholicism. The same King James who chose to spend his later years with his lover…not his wife… but rather the Duke.

And perhaps you left the Church because some one “convinced” you that 73 books were unacceptable; and only the 66 mentioned by the Jewish gathering in 90AD, in respose to combating those upstart Christians, would be the number of choice for Protestants.

Sad, sad, sad

But I thought the Holy Spirit was supposed to reveal the infallible truth the every individual Christian, as long as they read the Bible! It seems that this particular protestant read the Bible and decided it said that Jesus ISN’T the Messiah! How 'bout that?

If only we had some sort of competent authority for the interpretation of Scripture:shrug:…
😃

Then you have too many books.

What’s sad is your denomination subscribes to uninspired books and teaches them as God’s Word.

This thread alone proves the inadequate teaching of RCC.
