No, Luther removed them. In fact, he wanted to remove James too, and Revelations.
No, those books removed themselves. They don’t belong in the Bible because of errors. They are uninspired. We don’t need Luther to tell us that.

Actually, I have about 30. But one can never have too many books. :tsktsk:
Anyway… I’m just about done with this thread. I’m sure you want to derail this thread because it proves the lack of knowledge you guys possess when it comes to scripture. I recommend that you guys read the Word of God.

Apparently, history, logic, and the majority of Christians disagree with you.

Which Bible Should You Read?
History? logic? and you consider that inspired by God?

Pro 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Pro 3:6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

The Word of God is Jesus Christ, not the bible.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

What’s sad is your denomination subscribes to uninspired books and teaches them as God’s Word.

This thread alone proves the inadequate teaching of RCC.
Yeah, okay.

Rewrite history. Pick your own translation.

Jesus already advised us on this kind of delema. He told the Pharasees and Sad-u-sees that if they only recogized certain of the scriptures, then at least they should follow those which they accepted as true.

The same goes for you. So, since we both have the same New Testament… perhaps you should reconsider John 6. You walked away once, but you can always return. Catholics will pray that when God does open your eyes, you will accept what He shows you.

:rotfl: This is funny, LOL! You just make unsubstansiated statement and run. How childish. Prove it.

New thread…

believers says Jesus didn’t come to earth to be the founder of His church

God gave you a brain, you better use it.

Are you suggesting you should not use your reason?

Col 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Yeah, okay.

Yeah. John 6:47-63, 66. Christ said: “My Body is food indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed.” and “This is my Body.” The Bread is not an empty symbol.

Col 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Answer the question. Do you use your reason?

Reason is bad.

Pro 14:12
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.

Isa 55:8
For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Hsa 13:2
And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, [and] idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

Col 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Ok? And this verse says that Jesus wants us to blindly go against reason? You aren’t being logical at all.

you’ll have to read it for yourself. I recommend a King James in case your bible has removed or edited the story.
So we take the typical Sola Scriptura approach-we have to accept your personal interpretation and your preferred translation.

I know of no where in Scripture where Jesus denies he is the Messiah.

BTW-by what authority do you presume to interpret scripture for the reat of us?

Yeah. John 6:47-63, 66. Christ said: “My Body is food indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed.” and “This is my Body.” The Bread is not an empty symbol.
Luk 4:4
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Exd 20:16
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
So you do agree??? Jesus, Who did not write anything, and Who did not tell His Apostles to write anything, … founded only one Church and gave His Authority to Simon Peter to teach, shepherd and protect that same Church.

If you don’t believe that, then perhaps you have selected a false god … the unauthoritative interpretations of yourself or one you follow.

This is a serious error on your part.
