Hagee says Jesus didn't come to earth to be the Messiah

what more could Jesus have *possibly *said to convince you? Nothing. And the striking part is, when you walk away from Him, He respects your free will.

Christ gave them no explanation. He did not say, “wait, you mis-understood me, I was only speaking figuratively”. They knew, along with everyone else, exactly what He was saying?

If this were figurative, why is it written?

I didn’t say He denied it. I said that Jesus did not claim to be the Messiah in word or deed just before He was crucified.

By what authority do you tell me that I can read scripture?

God said to study His Word.

Living Bread = Flesh (John 6:51)
Flesh = Meat (John 6:55)
Meat = work of God (John 4:34)
Work of God = believe on Jesus (John 6:28-29)

I have no authority whatsover to tell you or anyone else how to interpret scripure. The difference between you and I is that i realize this and you dont/

Nope. Because the new Bread is Christ Himself.

Anyway, the Scriptures say: “Lean not unto thine own understanding.”

But what are you doing? Leaning on YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING of the Scriptures. You shouldn’t disobey the Scriptures then claim to love them.

Jesus didn’t sin. So there is at least one exception. And Jesus preserved his mother from sin by His grace. Anyway, read my above post and respond.

So you don’t believe God when He said “all have sinned”? I believe it. This is simply a matter of believing God or not. Apparently, you don’t believe God.

By the way, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (THEOS)”. Theos is the plural form of God which means Jesus is not included in the “all have sinned” part of that verse. He in the God part of the verse.

Still leaning on your own understanding, I see. Tsk, tsk. He said “…he who eats Me lives because of Me.” not “…he who eats vines and doors lives because of them.” Scripture is not given to any private interpretation, as you’re doing. So answer the question I posed, instead of making statements that will land you in an insane asylum.
